I love the Mar Vista Garden Tour.  First of all it’s huge, you simply can’t see it all, and second of all so many of the gardens are done by the homeowners which I appreciate.  Every year I try to bike around to at least a dozen gardens.  I’m especially fond of the gardens that have been tended to by the same people for decades.
